Seamless health monitoring through a digital diary with daily automated SMS and email sending to contacts and index cases.
After data is entered on the part of the (suspected) index case, symptomatic individuals are visually marked in the SORMAS user interface.
Index cases can specify their contact persons independently and digitally and send them to the health office.
The query is started by activating the button in SORMAS and sent to the index case by email/SMS. After the data has been transferred to SORMAS, the contact person files are automatically created in SORMAS with a link to the respective case file.
Missing data points within the case file in SORMAS can be added by the index case.
By activating the button, the health department can send a form to the index case via SMS/email, in which the index case can digitally and automatically transmit master and reporting data. The data is then seamlessly and automatically transferred to the case file of the index case in SORMAS.
Benefit from the enhancements of the Symptoms eDiary by quickly activating the modules for contact person recording and/or case record data collection, building on the already existing interface to SORMAS!
Addition to the existing AWS
The data protection audit (DPA) already performed in the course of the symptom diary makes it easy to add to the contract.
In just two days
As usual, when the modules are activated, the activation of the SMS and email link sending is done with one click by the health office staff in the case file via a button in SORMAS ("Register in Symptoms eDiary").
Automated real-time transmission in SORMAS
The link opened by the (suspected) index case allows the selection between the entry of master and reporting data, contact persons and the entry in the present Symptoms eDiary. After data entry, an automatic transfer of the data from Climedo to SORMAS takes place.
A digital exchange between public health offices and COVID-19 index cases/contacts is key to combating the pandemic. Digital communication channels allow for a significant workload reduction, which enables seamless follow-up and automated data collection through index cases – even at high incidence rates.
For this purpose, Climedo has developed the digital symptoms eDiary for the public health service in close collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health, the Federal Office for Information Security and the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. This enables contact persons and index cases to send their symptomatology to their public health office digitally and automatically.
Climedo has now extended the symptoms eDiary with the modules of contact person recording and case file data collection: The data entered by the (suspected) index case are seamlessly transferred to any EDP landscape (e.g. SORMAS) via existing interfaces. This way, index cases can independently transmit their base and reporting data as well as contact persons to their health office – saving valuable time and resources!
At Climedo, data security is a top priority. Our servers are officially certified in the field of information security (ISO 27001 - Standards for Information Security Assurance). In addition, we rely on strong data segregation and state-of-the-art encryption procedures. On a federal level, our system has also been audited by the BSI and the BfDI.
The Symptoms eDiary is already being used successfully in over 150 counties across Germany.
Nearly 10 million links to Symptoms eDiaries have been sent via email or SMS so far.
The Symptoms eDiary achieves a 90% response rate.
Activation of link sending with one click in case file via button in Sormas by GA employee (SMS and/or email sending).
Clear user interface for index cases and contact persons via link in e-mail and/or SMS:
Automatic transfer of data from Climedo to Sormas after input by index case.
The modules of the symptom diary, contact person recording and case file data collection for the public health service can be flexibly activated and are initially accessible with a connection to SORMAS.
Based on the interface to SORMAS@DEMIS, the employees of a public health department can work in SORMAS without media disruption. In the medium term, the connection to other IFSG specialist applications will also be established.
The activation of link sending via SMS and e-mail is done across modules with just one click of a button in the SORMAS case file.
A simple web link leads the index case (or the contact person) to a clear user interface, where it is possible to choose between an entry in the symptom diary, the entry of master and notification data, or the entry of contact persons.
All data is then automatically transferred to SORMAS. The application can be used without app installation or download and is optimized for any device (cell phone, PC, laptop, tablet).
Facilitate the daily work of your health office employees with Climedo: The automatic dispatch of the forms and the direct entry of data by (suspicion) index cases enables significant time savings and the release of valuable staff resources.
